Projects
A list of projects I've worked on
Designed to aid students in identifying birds in the wild, this game features two immersive virtual environments - a forest and a wetland. Each environment is populated by 10 different bird species. Students explore these environments, listen to bird calls, and use a mini map to locate and photograph each species.
A virtual training for teaching students how to measure a patient's blood pressure using a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. Audio cues, controlled by Tone.js, simulate the sound typically heard through the stethoscope.
This 3d construction surveying interactive simulates the process of creating a traverse network on OSU's McNary field. The goal of this project is to provide a virtual alternative to an in-person activity performed at the on-campus field.
SLIDE is an online interactive platform designed to add interactivity to PowerPoint style presentations. While maintaining this project I improved bug reporting, media playback, and accessibility within the platform (in addition to many bug fixes). This platform hosts over 150 current lectures and sees thousands of active users every term. Some of the technologies used to construct the SLIDE platform include React, Redux, Typescript, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS Codepipeline, and Nodejs.
Labshell is an online interactive platform used to simulate in-person labs, allowing students who are part of Oregon State Ecampus to perform the labs required for their degree from a remote setting. This platform hosts over 1000 active users and currently offers 30 different Chemistry labs.
